Calbee Potato's Instant Mashed Potato (Plain) is a convenient product made from Hokkaido-grown potatoes that turns into smooth mashed potato with just hot water — no peeling or mashing required. It can be used as a simple substitute for fresh potatoes in a wide variety of dishes, including potato salad, croquettes, gratin, and soup. To make mashed potato equivalent to one medium potato, pour 120cc of hot water into a bowl, then add 30g (approximately 8 tablespoons) of the powder and gently mix with a spoon. Warm milk can be used instead of hot water for added richness, and butter, pepper, and salt can be added to taste.
