Marumiya's Ja Ja Men no Moto is a ready-to-use zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodle) sauce featuring the deep, sweet richness of tianmianjiang (Chinese sweet bean paste) and a distinctive soy aroma. The sauce is packed with solid ingredients including domestic chicken, bamboo shoots, and shiitake mushrooms. Each pack contains two single-serving portions, and the sauce works well not only with Chinese-style noodles but also with somen. To prepare, cook your preferred noodles (Chinese noodles, udon, somen, etc.) in boiling water, rinse and drain well, then pour one portion of the heated sauce over the noodles and serve. The package also suggests topping with white sesame, tomato, green onion, and similar garnishes.
