Marumiya's Sichuan-Style Dandan Noodle Sauce delivers a rich, deep flavour built on both ground sesame and sesame paste, with doubanjiang (spbean chilli paste) and hua jiao (Sichuan pepper) for an authentic spicy kick. The sauce uses fragrant hua jiao oil and includes domestic chicken for a full-bodied finish. Each pack contains two single-serving portions, and the sauce works equally well with somen or Chinese-style noodles in addition to traditional dandan noodles.

• Spiced with doubanjiang and Sichuan pepper (hua jiao) for a bold, layered heat

• Versatile use: suitable for udon, somen, or Chinese-style noodles as well as dandan noodles
• To prepare: boil and drain your noodles of choice, then pour one sachet (80g) of heated sauce over them and stir to combine. Toppings such as chingensai (bok choy), white sesame, and cherry tomatoes are recommended.
