A convenient cooking sauce from the “Honjitsu no Ippin” series that lets you prepare authentic Sichuan-style mapo tofu easily in the microwave. Just add tofu to the pouch and heat to create a rich, spicy dish with deep umami flavor.

• How to prepare: Cut one block of tofu (about 350 g) into 1.5–2 cm cubes. Open the pouch, add the tofu, close the zipper lightly, and microwave for about 3 minutes 50 seconds at 600W (about 4 minutes 30 seconds at 500W). Mix gently before serving
