Marumiya's Kakeum! Rich Sesame Mazesoba Dandan Noodle Sauce is a concentrated sauce base designed for broth-free (mazesoba-style) dandan noodles. It combines the heat of doubanjiang and chili pepper with an abundant sesame aroma, delivered in a convenient standing pouch format. The sauce serves 2–3 portions and is also recommended over Chinese noodles, somen, udon, steamed chicken, or tofu.

• Combines doubanjiang and chili pepper spice with rich sesame fragrance for a full-flavoured dandan-style sauce
• Versatile use: suitable for Chinese-style noodles, somen, udon, or as a topping sauce over steamed chicken and tofu
• How to prepare: boil your preferred noodles, rinse under cold water, drain well, and plate one portion at a time. Pour the sauce (used straight from the pouch — no heating required, though warming is optional at 60–70°C) over the noodles and toss to combine. Toppings such as chicken mince, soft-boiled egg, and green onion are recommended
• The sauce can be used at room temperature; refrigerate after opening and use promptly. It can also be served cold from the fridge
